| Description: |
Moravian sounds can be heard in Wilfried Hiller's children's opera 'Der Josa mit der Zauberfidel'. Of course, an instrument that can create virtuoso sounds like these must be a magic instrument. As is often the case in Slavonic music, cheerful brilliance and virtuosity are next to melancholy and gloom. Sometimes, one does not want to decide whether to be sad or happy when listening to this music. In any case, it is, very naturally, in the midst of life – for life always has two sides.
