The two solo instruments, flute and oboe, can be notices only sometimes within the forceful orchestral sound. This part of the piece is exactly the opposite to the solistic passages which show tender and fragile melodies. Taking all this in consideration, Willi creates a picture of the nature that does not disregardthe menacing forces of nature.
