| Description: |
The second movement of Penderecki's flute concerto is wild and motley. Like a flushed chicken the flute flutters around and flees from the orchestra instruments which try to play tricks on it. One time it is the strings, sometime the bass drum rumbles.
All this creates the implression of the flute inside of a cartoon. It is trapped in a dark chamber full of instruments which make fun of her and scare it as good as they can.
If you have a similar scene in you cartoon or animated picture - just use this piece...
